The welcome reception will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday 21st May in the the Botanical Garden at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. We have arranged for a special (and good!) beer from a small brewery (http://pivovarhulvat.cz/) run by our earlier colleague-botanist, who escaped to beer-making – come to taste it! Light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided.
Lunch breaks will also be held in the same location, just a short 9-minute walk (700 meters) from the conference hall.

The conference dinner will take place at a boat-brewery (https://www.lodpivovar.cz/, web unfortunately in Czech, sorry) on Friday 23rd. The site is about 30 min by public transport from the conference hall (and only slightly more on foot). We are considering to offer a short guided tour through a few interesting but less visited places in the Prague historical centre close to the dinner place. Locally (on the boat!) made beer, good Moravian wine, soft drinks and food made by an enthusiastic cook will be served. The food will include both meat (e.g. beer marinated ham roasted directly at the board) or an array of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The dinner costs are included in the conference fee.
